2022 Student Leadership Service Awards

Thank you New York Institute of Technology for inviting the Black Student Union (BSU) NYC chapter to the 2022 Student Leadership Service Awards. This year the BSU won two organizational awards as well as 6 individual awards. This is a testament to the great leaders that we have and the support and engagement of our general body. The two organizational awards that we won were:
Outstanding Club / Organization of the Year
Program of the Year (Black History Month Dinner and Gala) - Collaboration with National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE)
We are so honored to win these awards and we will continue to strive and push for excellence. Our Individuals that got honored were:
Residential Program Service Award - Kailey Bennington-Brand
Zennabelle Sewell Heart Award - Sidpasamde Tiendrebeogo
Outstanding SGA Senator of the Year - Rasheed Martin
Emerging Professional Award - Tiffany Roberts
Martin Luther King, Jr., Memorial Award - Sarah Johnson
Emerging Leader Award - Ali Gedawi
